Time Off! What a Concept!

I know. I know. I don’t do it often enough…especially when the people you work for literally give it to you.

So…I went home.

I was looking forward to seeing the usual sights like the Waterfront Park’s Pineapple Fountain (above) that has become Charleston’s welcoming symbol. Many of you may not know that the pineapple represents hospitality. There are also the iconic and quaint restaurants and the clean fresh air all around. I did have to wait a bit to get to this point.

Charlotte was the layover from NJ…and a bit lengthy because of mechanical issues (Thanks, American). I did, however make it home at a reasonable hour.

Charleston changes every time I come home. Something shows up that wasn’t there before. It is still good to come back. Part of my mission was to do something I’ve only done one time before. This time marked a first because of the event’s signature feature.

Here’s a hint: it involves crossing a body of water on the first Saturday in April.

More to come.

I'd Love To Hear From You
