Rest Well, B.B.! Today ‘The Blues’ Has The Blues

Today..’Lucille’ sits silent.

Blues music is a fading art.  It has now lost the man who has long been the face of the genre.

The legendary B.B. King passed away in his sleep Friday.  Given his recent serious health issues, his death — while not unexpected — is still very sad.

There’s not much I can say to quantify a life spent entertaining so many for so long.  So I’ll let the man’s music speak for him.

Rest well B.B.   There’s a stage near the Pearly Gates waiting for you.
